    GENERAL
  1. Are all of the in-store item available online?
    No. In fact, we have several thousand items available in-store, many of which are limited edition or unique, one of a kind artist pieces, making our Material Possessions Retail Stores a 'must visit' when you are in Chicago.
  2. Where should I call with a question about a product?
    If you have a question about a product that you see online, please call us toll free at 1.888.241.1190.
    If you saw an item in our Chicago Store, call 1.312.280.4885.
    If you saw an item in our Winnteka Store, call 1.847.446.8840.
  3. Where should I call about a question about an online registry?
    Please call 1.888.241.1190 for all online registry questions.
  4. What are the store hours?
    Chicago - Mon~Sat 10am-6pm, Sunday Noon-5pm
    Winnteka - Mon~Sat 10am-5pm, Closed Sundays
  5. Where are the stores located?
    Chicago - 704 N Wabash, Chicago IL 60611.
    Winnetka - 954 Green Bay Road, Winnetka, IL 60093.
  6. What is your return policy?
    We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase from Material Possessions. If your order fails to meet your expectations for any reason, please contact us immediately to enable us address and correct the situation for you. If you need to return any regular merchandise, we will be happy to do so within 14 days of receipt for exchange, refund, or credit (excluding delivery and handling charges). Sorry, personalized, non-closeout, custom ordered, /special ordered and used items are not returnable (see Non-returnable Merchandise below). After 30 days, no returns of any kind will be accepted.
  7. How do I track my order?
    You will receive email confirmation upon shipment of your order with tracking information. You can also contact us at customerservice@materialpossessions.com to obtain shipment information... be sure to have your order number available.

  8. How do I protect my Email Address on your mailing list?
    We protect your email address. We never rent, sell, or otherwise distribute your email address. Opting in to our mailing list is for our internal communications only.
  9. How do I opt out of email?
    You can log into your account and simply uncheck your email list option... this will remove you from our mailing list.

  11. Does my registry show gift purchases?
    Yes, as shoppers purchase gifts directly from your registry, your registry will indicate both the quantity purchased and when your gift select has been fulfilled. Note: If shoppers do not select items from your registry, the registry cannot be adjusted.
  12. How long will my registry be posted after my event?
    We maintain registries for up to one year after the event date, unless specific alternative arrangements are requested.
